As things are, I don’t really see any issues with weight loss.About 80% of all those who lose weight end up weighing more than before they dieted in less than five years, according to a University of Oxford report.
Those who resolve to lose weight at the beginning of the year stop trying in two months. This is a topic in almost every weight loss forum.
To get things in perspective, I have listed some reasons why it’s hard to be consistent in weight loss.
By addressing these issues, you’ll get a lot farther down the road than if you were preoccupied with all the different foods and diets.
1. People don’t write down their goals and study them, so in the hectic daily routine, they forget about them.
2. Although many want to weigh less, the time and effort required to do something about it is not important to them as other things.Some people would rather have a six pack of beer than they would a six pack of abs.
3. Dieters often don’t setup enforcement mechanisms.There needs to be a way to enforce your diet plan, especially during vulnerable moments. Family and friends need to be involved if you can’t discipline yourself to resist the urge to eat bad food or to quit exercising.
4. Unrealistic expectations cause dieters to get discouraged when they don’t meet their goals. You want to know how to lose weight fast, but sometimes it takes longer than you want it to.
Keep working on your diet and exercise plan even if you’re results aren’t as good as what you expect. Persistence will pay off. 5. Lack of planning results in ineffective implementation of diet and exercise programs. Plan your workouts and your meals ahead of time to make sure they get done right.
If you will address these issues, you will have a much better chance at successful weight loss.Give it some time, then you can worry about all the smaller details.
